长期从事植物应对非生物胁迫的机理研究,主要关注气孔运动和非气孔限制在植物应对逆境时的关键作用。以第一作者在Journal of Experimental Botany, Horticultural Plant Journal, Environmental and Experimental Botany等植物学经典期刊上发表多篇研究性论文。
